Heating Performance: The RT for
hydrocarbons should be a linear function of
their boiling point if the temperature program
is linear. Here we see the results from a run of
even numbered hydrocarbons (C10 – C32) at
70°C/min. The graph plots the RT vs the boiling
point for the 12 peaks. The R2 = 0.996 which
demonstrates that the oven was heated linearly
and precisely over the temperature range at
70°C/min. |
